Briana is a great stylist with color, highlights, cut. I’m always confident that I’ll walk out of there with her exceeding my expectations. She recommended a conditioning treatment that made my hair so shiny & soft. Really happy that this FS just got new owners. The salon looks brighter, complimentary water & coffee. The stylists finally have a receptionist to help with WalkIns & phone calls.

I met Chris at this salon yesterday. She was very friendly, very professional and made time to talk with me about my hair issues before suggesting the best color solution. She did an amazing job, I love my new hair color! I’m so thankful to have found her as I am new in the area. I noticed yesterday that all the hairstylist here at this salon are very professional, you won’t be disappointed if you give them a try!

Not really that satisfied krys the manager did my hair today I asked for partial highlights and she highlighted my hair “with silver” instead of balancing out what I already had in my hair. My hair was two different colors and then she tells me there would a be a charge to redo my hair I spent alot of money in there and wasn’t satisfied she barely trimmed my hair after the haircolor and charged me 18$ for that. Then tells me to use purple shampoo to tone out the silver. Wont be coming back.

I am always hesitant with my hair because of the amount of times I have left pricey salons feeling disappointed. Let me tell you I decided to try a this salon and I could not be happier. Thank you SO much Nancy, you slayed my cut! I will be back again.

Fantastic Sam’s doesn’t want my business. And I’m okay with that. It’s their choice to put mandatory restrictions on their hairdressers and guests. And I can certainly take my money elsewhere. What did upset me is that I was never informed about their new mandatory restrictions. I had to wait 2-weeks to see my hairdresser of choice…and not once during my appointment phone call was anything mentioned. I never saw anything on the website either, because I did look. When I arrived I saw a very wordy notice on the door about new hours and appointments, I only gave it a quick glance. I was on-time for my appointment because I do practice social distancing and don’t like to crowd the waiting area. To my surprise the place was packed full of hairdressers, clients being taken care of, and clients waiting. I had to wait 15 minutes to be seen. Nowhere did I see any notices about any mandatory restrictions. I listened to the workers and the clients chatting about how difficult it was to hear anyone talking through their masks. I watched everyone pulling and tugging at them, constantly adjusting them, never realizing that every touch may have contaminated them. They pulled them down under their noses so they could see what they were doing. They pulled them down under their chins to say something a second time. Not once did anyone say anything to me while I sat there waiting. Finally I was checked in and guided to the wash station. I settled in, she put the cape on; she tested the water and soaked my hair, then offered to sell me a mask so she could continue my haircut. I politely walked out, my hair dripping wet. I sincerely don’t need to do business with a business that doesn’t want my money.

Stephanie made her feel at ease and gave her a great haircut. She will be back (Btw, her natural haircolor is 8N, not 4C like she said it was)

I was in yesterday for a color, Cecilia did a great job. I had recent brain surgery so my hair was a wreck.she was very careful, making sure I was comfortable. The blond and low lights turned out beautifully...The staff in the salon welcomed others .The stylist Taylor that was working beside her offered to help and cleaned different areas . I had an amazing experience and would go back for sure.....Thanks Cecilia for making me feel normal again...

Terrible customer service by Philomina. Ive been here plenty of times and never have i experienced the treatment that I received today! I wont ever be back, so no worries there. I was overbooked and rushed with a minute and a half long wash and an uneven cut. Owner was very rude when he gave me a phone call after my FB review as well. Very unpleasant experience.

Went here to get my haircut, never coming back. The stylist I had would ask me things like “do you want product in your hair?” After saying no, she puts 2 different products in my hair, and then she asked me, “do you like your hair slicked back?” I replied “no, I like it to just be messy and out in front with bangs.” She then gels my hair back and hairsprays it. Lastly, I told her I only want an inch cut off the top.. she cut 2-3 inches atleast, regardless of whether this was just one stylist of many, I heard that requesting a certain person can take over a weeks wait, therefore I will not be coming back, thanks.

I recently moved back to Florida and was sort of worried about finding a new place to get my hair done. But I’m glad I picked this location! I had an appointment with Cece and she blew me away! Even the other ladies in the salon were extremely friendly and made my experience a great one. They all went out of their way to make me feel welcome. And most importantly, my hair came out amazing, and I’ve been getting nonstop compliments on it! I couldn’t be happier with it, and can’t wait to go back again!

Julia gave my daughter her first haircut today. She is 3 and 1/2 and was very nervous but insistent that she wanted her haircut. Julia was extremely patient and kind. Her haircut looks adorable and it was a great first experience for her so she isnt afraid next time!

Been getting my haircut here for 4 years since 2016. Someone booked an appointment for me who I’ve never dealt with before and I was told to come in the following day. When I did, they said I was down for a different day and did not have room for me at all until then. Pretty irritating considering I work 60 hours per week and really have to go out of my way to make time for things like this; especially since I was clearly told when to come in but they didn’t log it correctly.Customers are forced to wear masks but apparently employees aren’t. Makes no sense. I’m very disappointed and won’t be coming back.

When I made the appointment they were so nice but when I arrived the next day the hairstylist who did my hair was very rude and nasty. When she washed my hair she was so rough I thought she was going to tear my hair out then when she was done my my cut which after 2 months was passable she gave me my bill and after I paid her did not say have a nice day or anything that even showed she was a half way decent person. I will not be back

I met with Francesca today. She was faced with a huge project because I decided to try the do it yourself highlights. Never a good idea !!She was patient, positive and knowledgeable.I left feeling that I needed to go buy an outfit to match the fabulous cut, color and style that her skilled hands accomplished.She is truly a God send. !!!Francesca you have now made a new client for good. !

I have been a loyal FS customer in Palm Coast, FL since 2014. I am writing this review because I attended a VIP trade show today and got so many wonderful comments about my hair and I want to express my gratitude to my Stylist, Francesca❣️ When I booked my appointment for last Friday, I had all the intention of just letting my hair color grow out and revert to Nature’s gray. Fran was agreeable and made some suggestions on how to gradually get to gray but she then said that with my skin tone, She would recommend that I stay a dark brunette and that is what we did and I could not be happier!!!I keep my hair super short and could easily color my own hair; however, Fran always picks just the right highlights to suit my mood of the moment and my hair always looks terrific!I have been in hotel management for 30+ years and I appreciate and respect excellent customer service. Fran always exemplifies this trait. She ensures that every customer is greeted when they walk in the door, every call is answered and all with a smile on her face. I drive all the way from Osteen in Volusia County to have my hair done by Cecilia! My experience in this location is always something to brag about, and everyone compliments my highlights. I even have a friend who now drives up from St. Pete to go with me to have her hair done as well. The salon is always clean, everyone is so friendly too. Highly recommended.

Went there for a haircut.. asked for a bald fade and now looking in the mirror and apparently the woman went from a 4 to 0... theres absolutely no fade.. On top of that she never cleaned my neck up.. toward the end I asked her and she said youre all set! never mind the juvenile haircut I couldve given myself.. I cant believe I even gave her a tip! Screw her and screw that place! Completely embarrassed... Stevie Wonder could have done a better job!

Brought my son in for a haircut. Julia took extra time to show us pictures to use as examples. It was literally the BEST haircut he’s ever had. She went above and beyond to make sure he got what he wanted.

Made an appt and when there was left waiting and skipped over to which I had to speak up and when I did they didn’t have a clue all though I called made an appt and showed up way before time gave my name and I showed the lady when skipped exactly where my name and number was in her book n she didn’t know what to respond or to say she has been waiting come with me .... instead she looked like a deer who saw headlights and so I said nvm I rather spend my money else where maybe more professional and where people know how appts work!

I find them reasonably priced and the stylists all see very personable.. Ive had Kathy twice now and she listens to what, and how I want my hair cut. Very pleased. Shop is clean, bright and and cheerie.

I had an appointment with Kim today. I arrived about 10 minutes early. As soon as I signed in Kim greeted me before I could sit down and escorted me to her booth. I havent had my haircut for a couple of months and was looking kinda crazy when I walked in. Kim, professional as ALWAYS, remembered exactly how I like my hair and went to working her magic. Awesome conversation and excellent service!! Kim is very professional and EXCELLENT at what she does! She has a lifetime customer with me!! Cant wait for her to get back from her much needed and well deserved vacation so I can go back for a style and highlights. The price of my wash, cut and style was unbelievable and was worth 3xs as much! My hair looks amazing! Short, sassy and SHARP!

My little sister went in for bangs and a trim and left less than 10 minutes later hysterical because of the lousy job preformed by Kathy. Her hair was uneven all the way across and the bangs were horrendous. You can tell she spent no time at all on the bangs and did not bother to shape or blend them. Her hair was left butchered and we were very disappointed. When brought to their attention, Kathy just shrugged it off and was extremely rude. She claimed she cut it straight then proceeded to ask if we had our license to do hair. We were very displeased with not only getting a horrible hair cut but their pure disregard to the issue. After Kathys rude comment of the license she turned her back to us and continued to work with the client in the chair. Francesca refunded us our money and was okay but I have not had a good experience with her cutting my bangs before in the past as well. All together, the women in there working truly dont seem enthusiastic and I wouldnt call them hair stylists or artists at all and certainly not Fantastic. However, I have had multiple experiences with Phil there and every time have left beyond happy with my hair cut. Shes probably the only one or one of the only ones who actually know what theyre doing. Ive gotten my hair cut here for years but unfortunately after today I dont believe I will go back. If you are specifically looking for front bangs please save your time, money and tears and do not go here. We wouldve been better doing it ourselves, compared to how Kathy cuts hair and it cant be too hard getting your hair license if she has it and is working there.

It seems it’s under new management and the respect too let a customer know how long their wait would be for the appointment that was made is no longer! Twice this has happened, today the second time we walked out after waiting 20 minutes. In that time, nothing was said to us. His appointment was at 1:30, we walked in at 1:28. No one said the appointment was going to be late, just “she’s just about done”! Oh wait a minute, that’s the same thing that was said the last time! Hmmmm, curious! So I guess the appointments that were made are ignored? I never had a problem until the new management! I feel bad for the stylist. I don’t think I’ll ever go back :(

So unprofessional, why make an appointment the day before if your not going to be seen before two walks ins that were taken while you sat there. People make appointment because they dont have time to wait. Lady lied right to my face . They compared themselves to a doctors office. Nah, you cut hair. Usually Ive been treated right here . Not if you have an appointment. It doesnt matter. The lady just was rude and took a walk in .

Came here on 3 separate occasions as a walk in and every time they said that they couldn’t get me in for just a haircut and I would need to come back the following day

Came to get my daughter’s hair washed and blow dried for her birthday. The sign said $15 for a Blow dry and style. She charged us $40 because her hair was too long, yet she never mentioned anything about an extra charge for length. Throughout the whole thing, she made unecessary comment’s about my daughter’s hair, and was mad the whole time. She didn’t have a name tag, but she is the lady with the brown & red pixie cut. Very unprofessional, and I feel like if you are going to change the price by more than double the original, she should have informed me.

I went in to see Cecilia for highlights and I will literally never see anyone else again.... she is the absolute BEST with color!!! She helped me pick out an some amazing products as well!

NOT SO FANTASTIC ANYMOREI used Fantastic Sams for years. They always accept and deduct the coupons from the amount that I had to pay. Now, they have this Brazilian manager (Francesca), that always tells you, that the computer does not accept the coupons, because the perm already has a discount price. How can that be? If you get a discount of $10.00 when you spend $40.00 or more. I had a perm. It was $47.00 and a coupon for $10.00 and she told me that I could not have the discount. On top of everything, the time prior to this one, I gave her $5.00 tip and she charged me $10.00 tip on my credit card, for a hair cut that cost $15.00. These, are the managers in our stores, that steal the costumers and do whatever they want without any scruples.

This review is for a specific person and not toward all stylists. Shondra cut my 10 year old sons hair. Simple cut 3 on top 2 on bottom. When I asked her to clean it up and straighten out the lines, she popped off that she had. Im not in the mood to fight over a terrible cut, there are a lot of stylist out there. I wont be back to her and will not give any praise, especially over the poor attitude. If you hate your job, find a new one. On our way to an actual professional to fix it.

Something as simple as highlights should not make you have to go to Target immediately after and buy hair color, but this was my experience. I had several people tell me they couldnt believe I actually paid to have my hair ruined, I just wanted it over with. I can still smell her nasty cigarette hands... poor service beyond belief

Had my hair done today, turned out great was a little worried because had damaged hair and was getting light blonde highlights in but was reassured that i just need to leave it alone, and it came out great, I’m terrible with names but had my hair done by a really nice, taller lady with big curly thick brown hair. So Thankyou fantastic sams!!!

If you don’t have an appointment, Dont even try to get in. I waited 50min to get my hair cut. Go literally anyone eles. The only reason I give it a 3 Star is cuz my hairdresser person was a really nice and did a great job. And prices are low.

My wife took my son and daughter horrible experience the lady told my daughter she had a terrible hairline then my son was supposed to get a trim and a line up in the back she took 1/16 hair off and said she was done and didnt touch the back... we are new to the area and would never recommend this place to any one their lazy and down right rude to people waiting on a refund still

The salon does NOT want to cut children’s hair. My husband waited 30 minutes for a haircut with my 2 year old son and then when a stylist was available she told him all the stylists have appts in 10 min and that he would have to wait even longer. A 2 year old waiting 30 min for a haircut patiently is long enough. The stylist could have cut his hair in 5 min tops and refused. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I went in there Fri a lady that was suppose to of worked as a hair dresser for 30 years choped my hair and had the odasity to say she didnt see anything wrong with it . But a nice girl came over stoped what she was doing to fix my chop job.if you go please ask for Kim shes the only one who knows what she is doing

I won’t mention names here but had hair cut by a young girl with little to no cutting experience. She loaded my hair with products first then cut my hair as her hands shook. She was pleasant but afraid.when asked she said 3 months experience but doubt she was out of school. The results were awful and I had her stop. The other stylist recut my whole head and I was relieved and anxious to get out of there. . Today I find many chunks of hair about an inch longer than the rest on both sides of head. That place is scary, bad cut x 2. Would never go back. Btw, the fault is with management.

My brothers haircuts always looked great after coming here, so I gave them a try and mine was no exception. I see alot of negative reviews. I cant speak for anyone who was displeased with their actual cuts, but I see alot of nonsense about having to wait half hour to an hour as sole reason. This place takes walk in customers, so youre going to have to wait your turn. Each person will take 20 minutes to half hour. You want them to rush through everyone s haircut so they can get to you, but I bet you dont want them to rush on your head. People are so self centered these days. I usually go to barber shops before I came here and sometimes wait up to an hour or more and if i dont have the time I just tell them Ill stop back later.

Very disorganized. No one took my name or told me how long for a cut. Another man came in and they asked his name, so went back up and said no one asked my name or marked me in, then i asked how long would it be and they said an hour. I walked out as I had already been sitting there 20 minutes. Very disappointed and they wont get my business ever.

Very bad, my mom got her hair cut there once, then the lady cut one side of her hair short, then other part long. And they try screwing you over by spending more, by getting highlights. I dont recommend, try going some place else. Only 1 or 2 girls are actually good.

Very inconsistent. First time we went my 12 year olds haircut was uneven but my 8 year olds looked great. So we gave them another shot. My 8 year olds cut was supposed to be saved in the system but there was no record of us at all. His haircut is horrendous. He actually cried when he got home. Uneven, long hairs missed, terrible fade.

Shawanda did a very poor job in her wreckless attempt to do a high fade. The sides were choppy and she was incapable of blending from skin to a 4. When i first came in she asked me if i was getting crew cut! Also was very unsocial amd displayed no confidence.

Just had haircut and blow-dry by Shawnda came out just like I wanted she was friendly and fast would recommend this place

This is the worst ever hair salon I took my 13 year old son here yesterday and he ended up with a bald spot and his edges were really messed up and uneven,she even shaved his hair way to far back and I am really dissapointed plus she made us wait a whole extra 30 minutes. Never go here!

I brought my grandson (age 7) in today for a haircut. After signing in, we were completely ignored . One worker named Francesca walked by us several times, she had time to sweep, dust her station and check the register/computer but refused to wait on us. We left after 20 minutes of waiting, when initially we were told no waiting, we were next. What, they dont like cutting kids hair ? So rude, Ill never ever ever go back. and for the record I had to click on at least one star to post this.....they dont deserve that !

Horrible, had to make an appointment somewhere else to fix my hair. Didnt get anything that even resembled what I asked for. I walked out looking like they stuck a bowl on my head and cut around it.
