Bought a safe I had been waiting to come in stock. They called for help and a strong young man threw it over his shoulder and brought it to my car.

They moved their location and it is a way better place. There is plenty of room and bigger. It is in the shopping center where the old Toys’R’us was next to the trolley tracks. This is a great place to get some good economical tools. If you take care of them they will last you a while, great for DIY projects.

This place just moved from its former location to where its now based. Lots more parking, specially for wheelchairs. There is however usually a very long line or two waiting to pay. So make sure you have plenty time on your hands.

I bought a pump sprayer and it was missing the nozzle. I didnt use it, but when I went to return it, the manager lied and said he could smell the chemicals I used before I brought it back. I told him I never used it,but he said he would not return it cuz I used it. Basically calling me a liar. I threw away the sprayer, I bought a new one elsewhere. The other employees were friendly, but the manager was not a people person.

It was good but what could be more helpful is having staff looking for customers that need help to find tools and at the check outs open another cashier to get your customers in and out when theirs line of 3 or more ...11🤔🤔🤔

They dont have it all, but they have a great variety packed in!If youve got a Harbor Freight Near you, consider going to yours before a big box store!They have nice discounts and if youre on the Inside Track Club, you get greater discounts and great deals!At the time of writing this, if you sign up online, they give you a perk of a gift card via mail (mine was $10). I dont know if its a new thing, but theyve recently modified the Club and pulled back from paper coupons, and online YouTube creators that I follow have tracked the evolution of deals. Theyve shown how Harbor Freight (HF) is focusing on the Club and refocusing savings there so that it can easily pay for itself many times over. I had a few paper coupons during this transition only to find out it was applied to Club members. Oh well. Lost those savings as I still bought the items.Ive been a happy shopper at HF for years and agree in their conclusion, so I just joined the Club! No big purchases yet, but I opted for the 2 year and already having my $10 gift card, it wont be long until its paid for itself as theres always deals, but additional discounts for Club members.I like HF for the variety at good prices. One of my favorite items is a bug zapper! My kids like chasing and zapping mosquitoes and spiders instead of running away like before! But theres so much more, so check it out and enjoy!

This food truck its right off of the 5 freway and L street very convenient food is good I mainly go there for the fish tacos, prices are reasonable, they use to give you cup of caldo for free but now they charge you $1 dollar...Was not to happy about that.

It used to be my favorite place to spend my money in things that I dont really need it . But hey the 20% off coupon was really handy. But since they get rid off of the coupons theres not much really to buy a full price because the quality of their products its below average most made in China stuff. So I dont recommend it any more. Be wise and spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

Went to Harbor freight because my orbital polisher was on sale. I just wish they would bring back there ads and coupons in the mail. None of this digital stuff. Im old school. This place seems smaller than the miramar one. Overall i was happy. Advertising old school is best. Take a poll and ask people

If you look closely and carefully there are some decent tool values here. Overall the tools are of low quality but again there are some exceptions and this has changed since my last tour of several years ago.

Looks like a new store. It has a huge parking lot and the store is right next to the 5 freeway. Saturday morning was light on cashiers but the weight was only 5 minutes. I love harbor freight tools. I highly recommend this store in the city of Chula Vista.

Cheep prices for cheep tools. Long wait in 2 lines. several closed registers. No help on store floor. As I was checking out one of my purchases fell on the floor & rolled under something & a store employee walked right by while I struggled to retrieve my run away purchase. I thanked him, (for nothing). Other than that...

Long tines just to pay, not enough workers

The store in itself is a great place to purchase economical tools.However, last night I stopped by to purchase a few small items and and had to walk away empty handed.After waiting in line to pay, I was told by the cashier that their system was down and I had to pay cash for my transaction.In an era where most merchants are asking customers to pay with credit/debit cards due to the national coin shortage, many of us are not paying cash any longer.The Chula Vista, Ca store relocated from up the street a few weeks ago and should be better prepared. Management needs to have a back up plan for any unexpected incidents at all times !!!

The only reason for 3 out of 5 is because what I went there for, they didnt have. Other than that, theyve always been a five to me.

The store itself is great. Good prices and wide selection. The manager (fat bald guy) was rude and disrespectful. I will gladly travel the extra distance to avoid this particular store and go to one of the others in the San Diego area.

Great prices on lots of different tools & I want every one of them. Nice new store. You may have to wait 30 minutes to get into the store. Horrible customer service. On a rare occasion you might get checked out quickly, but you will typically wait in the check out line 30 to 45 minutes. If you ask them to open another register they get extremely rude. Its like that most of the time. I love the store, but I hate the people that work there. They just do not care about the customer. Frankly, Id rather wait in line at the DMV, at least the people at the DMV are nice.

New store is much better than previous location. Aisles are wider and doesnt feel to cramped. Would have given 5 stars but needed help finding something and couldnt find anyone to help me.

This new Chula Vista location is nice. Well lit, organized and clean. Big improvement over the previous location.

This was a fun experience. Close to closing time and yet the employees were helping me and others with a great attitude. Didnt feel rushed. Found most items on my list and a few things I didnt know about so I had to have. Wonderful.

Cheap prices, if youre not a pro, harbor freight tools will serve you right, I couldnt find the 20% discount offer like before, but the prices are still good, store is at a different location, but their system is the same, always a line😏.

Their new location its much cleaner and more open still sing good stuff to set and demek made all the rubber and nitrile gloves disappear of the shelf and prices on gloves went up 70%.

I work with making props and costumes, and the needs I have are perfectly met here. Tools work, do what I need done. Employees are nice, have a sense of humor at times. Its not a forced kindness, I can tell from when I worked in customer service. Very happy, thank you for my customer experience.

Kind Staff, well stocked shelves unlike other Harbor Freights. They also were following Covid-19 precautions very well.Things were organized and tidy.This is my usual Harbor Freight, and there is plenty of parking.

I visited the Chula Vista location on 10/09 where an employee would not let me enter with my less than 2 year old son stating he was required to wear a mask. The manager I spoke with, Tia, was rude and got in my face when I stated the CDC AND county guidelines explicitly state a clear suffocation hazard to children UNDER the age of 2. He proceeded to tell me their store exceeded the CDC guidelines which seemed highly inaccurate considering the store was packed (very little social distancing efforts) with only one entrance/exit. I was trying to return an item I had purchased to Harbor Freight. I will not be using your store for business anymore.

Didnt have what I wanted in stock right then but customer service was excellent they looked up for me one of the other locations that had the item in stock and happen to find out that what I needed was going to be shipped the next day at the Chula Vista location.

ALWAYS LONG LINES to pay. Four registers but only two cashiers. Girl said this our best when I asked for more cashiers. good prices bad service.

I spent a seeming *eternity* just WAITING IN LINE (again!) at Harbor Freight in Chula Vista, for just 3 items! Absurdly slo-o-o-ow cashiers (3) were more interested in discussing where they might eat lunch than in even *faking* any interest in customer service or a work ethic. Pathetic! No more of this B.S. for me. Its not worth it, and the quality of their items are often suspect too. No more. Im out, its back to *anyplace else* for me.
