We went to J&W Lumber yesterday. The staff is very professional and helpful. John helped us determine what we needed and how to fit it in the truck. They were not very friendly and with no consideration of how things are with the pandemic, wouldnt even consider reimbursing me the delivery fee when I returned the material they messed up at the delivery. Very inconsiderate..👎🏼👎🏼

This place is awesome. They are very friendly and so helpful. They do not pressure you in any way to make a sale. They answer all your questions with details and ask you what exactly you want your project to look like at the end, and help you accordingly. They have a lot of experience with decks, pergolas, and gazebos. Also, they are so helpful when picking a stain for your wood projects. Love this place.

JW & Lumber on Main Street, Chula Vista, is a no-hassle place to find all your lumber needs. Hector and staff helped me with a few customized wood cuts for my homes siding I can not find at the local box-store. If you have no clue on what type of wood you need or size cut, they have friendly service here. I suggest bringing in the wood you need replaced, drawing and sketch and theyll take it from there for you! Youll be a repeat customer for sure!

This place is awesome. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They have everything needed for decking and outside structures and their inventory is of the highest quality.

Loved the Customer Service. They even told me about alternative materials they dont carry and where to find them. Best part, non discriminatory as other stores, being a woman I frequently get the male chauvinists know-it all machos telling me I cannot do what I am trying to so. I will recommend for sure.
