The Mid City Driver drove 20 mph in reverse, from across a parking lot and rammed my vehicle. This occurred while I was attempting to back out of my parking space, after unloading my family and an ice chest. He did not hook onto the tires correctly, which damaged my rear differential and brake caliper. He pushed my vehicle up and over a 10 curb & into the bushes, WHILE I WAS BACKING OUT AND INSIDE MY VEHICLE. Beyond unprofessional and very threatening. I will be contacting the City of New Orleans and the State of Louisiana. Tow Truck License plate B015805 on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at 9:45am. These drivers and tow company are clearly targeting certain people. Its a Horrible Company with RUDE and DISHONEST Employees on a power trip!

Midcity towing is a SCAM!!! be careful where you park because they are watching,& waiting for you to park in handicap parking at Walmart just so they can take your CASH ONLY payment right there to get your car! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE last but not least LAIRS!!!!

Absolutely the worst experience Ive ever had.The guy at the window was very unprofessional.Didnt respond for a long time and then shut the window at my face because I wanted to make sure my car was not damaged.

I have to say had it not been for Chris, Alex, and Tommy. I don’t know how I would have been able to get a vehicle towed for a family member of mine. They were very Professional. Just saw a Mid City flatbed with 2 flat cars headed to the junkyard and was So impressed with the level of care, attention to public safety, and professionalism displayed by the driver that I had to comment publicly. It was about noon, 3/17/20, and his sensibly sized load was strapped and netted. Hope this will get back to him And the Big Boss. WELL DONE!

Towed my sons car from Planet Fitness lot in Metairie just because it was over the line in a mostly empty parking lot. Signs from a different company warned about booting for $70. They towed (no warning signs) and charged $166 (cash only). What a scam!

Booted the wrong car by truck number 2. Had i not had someone in the car as they began to boot my car i would have surely been out of luck as when i called no answer on the phone. The ONLY explanation He gave was there are were two gray Camrys. My car is a darker color, a charcoal gray impala not a camry nor was it parked next to the other car.we were in the Subway parking lot on St.Claude Ave at 2500 st claue ave..beware! It seems like he is parked out there just waiting to boot some poor individual. After he took the boot off my car he booted the actual car hewas going after and told the poor kid he was just a minute over...what a scam and highly unprofessional behavior!

They took my moms car straight out of her parking spot and screamed at her on the phone about it being her fault. They do this for money and they are now bringing it back free of charge, because the property manager can confirm it was took illegally by them. Also if they are trying to have my mother pay they will be sued. It is on camera where she parked and where it was took . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

These people are shady, rude and clearly unethical. What gives them the right to tow a car from a parking lot where the tires r simply over the yellow line of a parking space? The car may be illegally/inappropriately parked but the owner does not deserve to have his car “stolen” by this company with his wallet and other personal belongings in the car. There was NO sign stating that a car illegally parked would be towed. In addition, they demanded $167 in CASH to get the car out. They are involved in an illegal racket!!!

Nasty attitude of tow truck driver, like a vulture, circling around Walmart parking lot on Chef Hwy. Looking to pick off cars he see opportunity to tow. Hustle attitude, watches as soon as you leave your vehicle, so careful where you park.

This was such a rip off. We were in NOLA and due to poor signage, parked in a cab stand. My vehicle was towed! I asked why not a ticket and was told that they ticketed and towed at the same time!? What? Who does that? Mid City towing had hundreds of cars from the citys visitors who came to the city to enjoy and spend $$$ otherwise. Shame on you all for treating your guest this way!

If I could rate them a negative 20 I would! They are extremely rude, and very unprofessional!!! My car was towed there by NOPD, because it was involved in a very bad accident!! I called to ask questions after receiving a bill in the mail, because I’ve never been in this situation before and they wasn’t helpful when I was there!! They act as if the question I was asking was soo hard to explain! After I explained to them I’ve never had to deal with this before! Also the day I went to retrieve my item out of the vehicle they were super excited that my car was a total lost!! They lady smiled while talking to me about it!! Basically jumping for Joy! I Assume because they get paid from this! But very inconsiderate to my situation!!

CriminalsMid City Towing went to a Disabled family members apartment in Gretna and took the vehicle from a handicapped parking space with the handicap sign hanging on the mirror.Gretna Police Officer came out to confirm if vehicle was towed or stolen. He even called Mid-City. They would not answer.Drove to the location on Canal St. and the vehicle was on their lot. Kept calling from different numbers and a guy hiding inside finally answered. 4 more people were there to get their vehicles (Walmart, AutoZone, Residential Street, Apartment Complex)Charged her $186.00 to get the vehicle.Its not enough to complain to this company and I understand that parking rules on city and private areas should be adhered to, but there are numerous complaints about this company.It makes me wonder about whos in their pocket.Walmart, Apartment Complexes and other businesses use Mid-City towing. Let the city and those companies that you patronize know that this is not acceptable.Pressure the businesses to not not allow Mid-City onto their properties.Hurt them in the pocket.Straight Criminals.

Worst experience of my life. I understand getting towed and I was totally ready to take responsibility for forgetting to put a visitor sign in my windshield. But the guy that worked tonight was absolutely the rudest person on the planet and all I can say is I really hope that he gets the karma he deserves.

I mean, if my car HAS to be involuntarily towed for illegal parking, these are the guys for the job! They were very helpful in helping me locate my vehicle, and showed excellent customer service when taking my cash payment. I know breaking the rules isn’t funny, but these dudes were so cool, we were even able to laugh at this mega-awkward situation. As opposed to paying a penalty, I would look at this experience as paying almost $200 for a humorous and friendly chat. Now, I’m cancelling my reservation at Commander’s Palace and I’m on my way to Taco Bell.

Had the worst experience with this company I was actually sitting in my car when the tow truck guy lifted my car up after I said I would move my car. I had to call the police two officers and their sergeant came out and they realize the tow truck driver was very rude. The Sergeant even called the owner to report the drivers rude and unruly behavior but it didnt end there the driver continued to be rude even at the tow yard he was asked by the supervisor to me and let me out and he had an attitude

The man who helped me at Mid City Towing was very friendly and extremely helpful during a stressful situation.

I really wouldn’t even rate this company 1 star but I couldn’t choose the no star option. Totally unprofessional! The CEO, Tommy, argued with me for about 2 hours regarding me having a visibly displayed parking decal for my apartment complex when I was parked in my designated parking spot! A compete inconvenience for me to come pick up my car from a towing lot almost a half hour away from where I live! This is the absolute worst towing company in Lousiana! They will attempt to swindle ANYBODY, even residents of the apartment complexes that they have active contracts with. BAD BUSINESS!

Horrible and rude employees. We needed an unauthorized vehicle towed as it was parked in our assigned spot at our apartment complex. We gave them make/model, and after an hour of waiting (could not park elsewhere as all spots are assigned, and the complex is full) we called for an update. We were told that they called the apartment manager and the vehicle was authorized to park there. When we asked for further information so we could sort it out, they hung up on us. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and called again to try to get further information, but hung up on us again while we were trying to find out what was happening! We just wanted to park our car, and relax at our HOME and we were told NOTHING. Just that the vehicle was authorized (with no parking pass or visitor pass) and repeatedly hung up on when we tried to figure out what was happening.

The worst company Ive ever interacted with. Caught them towing my car, when I told him I could pay him to release it, he said hold on one second and drove off with my car. Now Im being told Im getting charged 80$ more for it and I camt even get it today. They said they were closed yet theyre put towing a whole lot of cars. Awful

This crappy company towed my vehicle and damaged the tailpipe and would not take responsibility for it in any way. Brought my vehicle to dealership and they confirmed that the damage to my vehicle is consistent to damages that would have been done while in tow and it had to take a hard hit to happen. They are completely unprofessional imbeciles!!

I was told a price on the phone. I showed up and it was magically $25 higher. Thomas called me a liar to my face and wouldnt budge on the price. Ive never seen a more effective organized criminal enterprise than this.

If there were a negative number Id give it! The very rude tow driver was not just rude but mean. I called regarding my car that got towed while visiting my daughter and granddaughter and told him I was on my way as he said he would be there until 10PM I get to the tow yard and he is in his truck and as I walk up to his truck he pulls off. I called and he told me Ill have to wait 30 minutes for him to come back! Again I literally walked up to his truck and he pulled off. I explained we are three females in a not good area of town with one of us being 7 years old and it was freezing outside. He said so what do you want me to do, I got another car to pick up and I wont be back for 30 mins He come back 40 mins later without a car that he said he had to pick up!

These people are total scumbags. They charge $24 a day to store your car in a filthy parking lot. (Parking in the French Quarter is not even close to that high) The inside of the place is disgusting, and the people in the office were sitting around drinking bud heavy. It is deplorable.

Garage towing company they towed my son car & pulled the bumper off PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont ever let them tow your then the owner laught & said the bumper in the back seat when it wasnt he pulled it out from a back shop.
