A lovely store with lovely people! Something for everyone and a great addition to Downtown Martinsville.

This is such an adorable book store. They held a Halloween story time for littles today and it was so sweet. They gave the kids a treat to eat while they read them a story and even had a craft afterward. The people who owned/worked in the store were all incredibly friendly. We will definitely be back again next time we are in the area.

Locally owned and operated book store. Prices are comparable to Amazon but Fables and Fairytales offers a knowledgeable staff and charming atmosphere. I highly recommend you check them out.

I love our new bookstore. While much of the store is dedicated to childrens literature, learning materials, and toys, they dont just have books for children -- they carry a sizable collection of new and classic fiction for young adults and adults, as well as cookbooks, journals, and non-fiction. They give you a loyalty card that you can use for a discount on your 10th purchase, too. They also have good sales. Its a truly lovely store and I always look forward to going back!

This is one of the cutest bookstores I have ever seen!!! You absolutely must stop and see it! I am so excited for Martinsville to have something like this available for everyone to support.With coloring & reading sections for little ones and coffee and seating for adults and well as an AMAZING selection of quality books for children, it made my kids day (all 4 of them ages 7, 6, 5, & 4)!YOU WILL LOVE IT!

I love this bookshop. Its small and quant and excellent for kids. They had so many books to choose from and the owner is so nice and helpful even went as far to order a book we wanted. Definatly check this out.
