I just returned to Dr Tarvin from another audiologist. .. She is awesome! Very knowledgeable, has the patients best interest at heart, and is extremely thorough. Dr Tarvin, unfortunately, is out of network for me, but I think enough of her services to switch and use her anyway. Its truly an amazing thing when you find someone who is good at what they do, and Dr. Tarvin is exceptional! I have been struggling with tinnitus for over a year, and she was able to provide the hope I needed that this would not be something that would affect my life in a negative way permanently. She scheduled an appropriate amount of time (90 minutes) and completed thorough testing and answered all of my questions with expertise and patience. While she works out of an unassuming office in the small city of Easley, I couldnt imagine finding anyone more capable and dedicated with what she does anywhere. I cant thank her enough for not only providing me the assurance tinnitus does not need to be life impacting but also suggesting my hearing can even be better than it was before with some modern day tools. Yes, hearing aids at 49, but excitement that my world will open up beyond what did you say. I cant begin to express how great I feel about Dr. Tarvin and Elevate Audiology.

My experience with Dr. Tarvin for a hearing test was excellent. She spent 30-40 minutes with me and answered all my questions. She explained things in a way that I understood, but that did not over simplify or rush past important information. Even though my test came back normal, she was willing to explore other reasons why I was experiencing hearing loss and help me figure out next steps. This included discussion of latest research, newer technologies, as well as more traditional approaches. Both she and the front desk staff were personable and empathetic.

My appointment went through the VA. Dr Tarvin performed the hearing test and the fitting. However. due to small ear canal, I experienced pain and was unable to wear the device. Due to sickness, I was not able to return for 8 months. I called recently, got right in and Dr. Tarvin fitted a smaller ear piece for me. I could not have been more pleased with the results. I cant give enough stars to this place and the staff. I had to make an appointment today due to some hearing loss that had gotten worse just over the weekend. Ive actually put it off for a while after having bad experiences at other places as a child and being nervous now as an adult. I cant thank this place and Dr. Tarvin enough. This has completely changed my nervousness and fear of visiting the doctor to have my ears looked at. The interior is beautiful and they offer you a variety of drinks. I walked into this office after exhausting alllllllll my options on my tinnitus following a neurologist, physical therapist, massage therapy, Botox, dentist, mri, cat scans... all with negatives tests, fortunately!! However no answers.. no explanation from other doctors besides wanting me to bandaid my symptoms of ear ringing with some medication, which would make me numb to my ears, and aspects of life... I walked out of this office with new information and a different mind set. I also walked out with hearing aids for sound therapy which have in just 1 day seemed to help ease the piercing ring that destroys my quiet. Dr. Tarvin is very educated and compassionate, so glad I made the appointment! Well worth it.

I saw Dr. Tarvin for bilateral, multi-frequency tinnitus. We re-affirmed that white noise can improve my tolerance, and decided to pursue hearing aids for consistent sound generation. Dr. Tarvin is personable, informative, and spends ample time with her patients. She knows tinnitus. She knows the therapies. She let me test the hearing aids and the white noise program before being approved, which has significantly altered my perspective on their efficacy. She does tone and decibel matching so as to get a rough idea of the objective loudness of ones tinnitus. Her pricing is fair. She types thorough, accurate records. If you have tinnitus, this is the doctor youre looking for. And if this somehow isnt who youre looking for, shell point you to the person who is.

Dr. Tarvin helped me out when other failed. She didnt simply push me through the steps of the standard hearing tests Id been put through several times before in an attempt to correct my tinnitus, she offered solutions. Im sleeping better than I have in years because of her recommendations. I am definitely encouraged by the results she been able to provide and have recommending her to several of my friends who have suffered with tinnitus for years. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

Dr. Tarvin is superb. She knows and uses the latest technologies and adapts them to the patient’s individual needs. She is personable and patient. I am hearing well for the first time in years. I give her the highest recommendation.

Dr. Tarvin really goes the extra mile to find a solution to your hearing needs. After a thorough examination, she provided me with hearing aids to use on a trial basis. These worked great, but I was worried about the cost of actually purchasing the hearing aids. Dr. Tarvin reassured me that there are many different ways, besides private insurance, to pay for the hearing aids. She has referred me to vocational rehabilitation which may cover the cost of my hearing aids. Bottom line: even if you think you cant afford hearing aids, come see Dr. Tarvin. She provides excellent service and finds a way to get you the hearing solution you need.

I visited Elevate Audiology today for the first time and was beyond impressed! The office is brand new, decorated in an awesome purple paladin shade, and an extra bonus is that they have the cutest office dog mascot Colby that will smile at you and keep you company during your appointment. Since I have normal hearing, I was naive to everything an audiologist can offer. Its not just for those with hearing impairment or for routine hearing tests. Elevate offers custom hearing protection for different activities, swim and sleep plugs, musician earplugs, specialty molds (i.e. stethoscope), etc. I went specifically for custom-fit music earbuds because normal headphones hurt my small ears. Their mission is to elevate the lives that we touch while elevating what is expected from the audiology field -- mission accomplished! If you live in the Easley or Greenville surrounding areas, check out the office!

Dr. Tarvin was very helpful with cleaning my hearing aids and recommending a custom earpiece to hold my hearing aids to keep from loosing the pre filter in my crooked ear canal as has been happening.
