I recently got my Septum done for my birthday and the staff was super nice about everything even though I was really nervous. They actually made conversation which was comforting and explained everything I needed to know. The prices are great and would recommend going!

Staff is super knowledgeable with all styles of piercings. Clean shop. Great selection of jewelry. The gentleman who did my piercing was great. Explained everything so I knew what to expect, how to clean it, how long healing would be and the dos and donts. Will definitely be going again.

I had been a customer here for about a year. I had been getting piercings done here for the third time now. The professionalism and sterile technique it’s some thing that I would give very much part two. They need to be on time opening the store and are staying on task and everything I guess. The store is supposed to be open by 12 but most of the day as they open by 12:30 12:40 something like that. No other issues that I have seen their supplies are of good price (kind of $$ OKAY) but you get all the advisers and care that you pay for actually. I would recommend this place but about the time I would say to call before you head there and go.

I changed my nose piercing last Saturday and it magically vanished from my face. I couldn’t get it back in myself so I sent to OUCH to get professional help. The piercing artist was very friendly and explained that she needed to do to get it back in. Basically, she had to stretch the hole out and put a new ring in. It hurt like hell, but I had been poking at my nose so I was prepared for that.The shop is always clean and sterile. She opens all of the new tools in front of you so you know it’s sanitary.

Great staff! Clean environment! Very professional! They are cash only, so make sure you go by the ATM before you get there.

Make sure you double check your piercing balls if they do it for you!! the balls from my jewelry that ive gotten from there (3) have fallen off in less than a week.

I went yesterday looking to get a industrial piercing but the piercer explained to me why I couldn’t because of how my ear was.. I got 2 helix piercings instead he was PERFECT I didn’t feel a thing it was quick! He talked me through it the whole time and made me feel comfortable (Because of my bad experiences with this same piercing at another shop) And the dude in the front desk was very friendly. I didn’t catch their names though ☹️ But Y’all just gained a new customer, I will be coming back soon!

I previously got a piercing here before so when I came back into town from NYC, I stopped by hoping to receive the same great experience.. Unfortunately this wasnt the case as I was met with rude and unprofessional behavior. Upon arriving an hour before closing, it seemed like they were closing shop so I inquired with two employees who were outside. The heavy set women totally ignored my question.twice. The other employee, a tall gentleman, approach us to explain that they were currently out of jewelry (who runs out jewelry at a piercing shop - QTNA). While I do appreciate the gentlemen for explaining, I was definitely bummed with the overall experience. Tip to the woman - you might want to take a refresher in customer service.My note in responses to the owners follow-up:To be clear; I didn’t say the woman was heavy set as demeaning or derogatory but to simply describe the person, just as I did with the gentleman.Also, the woman did hear me as she looked right at my direction and ignored me, thus the reason why the gentleman came over to me to clarify the situation at hand.Bottom line, the establishment was not prepared to provide service an hour before closing, which you reiterated in your response.I understand that places run out off items and would have totally been fine to come back another time. What triggered my negative review was the unprofessionalism provided by the woman.

Cash only. After calling to ask questions about the process of getting the piercing they never stated it was cash only so I wasted my time going out there. Very inconsiderate and unprofessional and rude at the front desk.

Unbelievable!! Just walked in and bought an end piece for my piercing (old one fell off). She looked at my earring, sold me an end piece— I walked out to my car and noticed it was for internally threaded earring so walked right back in to get the correct piece and they would let me exchange it. I walked out and right back in. Will not be back here-ever!!! Horrible service.

This review is so late but I was so happy with our experience at this studio. I took my daughter, who was 6 years old, to get her ears re-pierced here and Kara was amazing. Unfortunately, a year prior, we had gone to Claire’s because I hadn’t done enough research & didn’t consider that maybe a mall employee with a piercing gun wasn’t best route. (My daughter’s ears healed so badly that I was afraid I permanently scarred her, physically and emotionally.)Shockingly, a year later my daughter came to me and asked, a second time, to get her ears pierced. I said no for months because I was nervous of the outcome, but that’s all she wanted for her birthday so I took her to this studio. I was really nervous because I wanted the best experience for my daughter, but I also didn’t want to inconvenience the staff since kids can be unpredictable.Everyone was great! They explained to my daughter what was going to happen before ever touching her & let her decide whether she wanted to continue. Kara let her watch Coco on a tablet so she didn’t even realize when the earring had gone in. The front desk lady was very gracious & understanding of the fact that had my infant son with me and had to leave momentarily to feed him before finishing the initial paperwork. She was really nice even when I was the annoying customer with the crying baby that everyone dreads. The piercing itself was quick, and Kara was great about providing aftercare instructions and her contact information in case I had questions. Thanks so much!

Had my nostril pierced by Cassidy last night! I called beforehand to make sure they were open on Monday’s, and they let me know they might be closing early. I didn’t realize how far away I lived and was worried I wouldn’t get there on time. When we arrived the door said cash only and I didn’t have any cash on me so I drove around to the bank and back, just wish they would have let me known on the phone. Short wait and waited outside due to Covid (thank you for keeping us safe!) Ouch! was clean and concise, I appreciated everyone’s attention to detail and the piercing was quick, took less than 5 minutes and everything was opened in front of me. It looks great and I love it! Thanks you guys!

I brought my 8 year old in to have her ears pierced and we had a wonderful experience. The front staff and the guy who did her piercings were so nice. The guy who did her piercing was so kind and patient working with her until she was comfortable getting them done. They look great too. Definitely recommend them!

They joked around a lot which was nice because it helped me calm down before my piercing. I only wish he had spoken a little slower when explaining the side effects, cleaning, etc. Also maybe they could ask if customers want to know how their ear is going to be pierced because I really wouldve liked an explanation of what all was involved.

I went in today to have my nose pierced and had a awesome experience! There were to guys in the salon the receptionist is very prompt, polite, and welcoming. I filled out some paper work picked out a stud and was taken back to a individual room within 10 minutes or less of arriving. Logan the gentleman piercing my nose was calm comfortable and confident in what he does. Again he explained the aftercare for my piercing and even shoed me a product that works well, clean the area. Opened new piercing utensils infront of me, markes a spot for punction once i approved the peircing was done! Pain upon puncture of course but not much and absolutely none since. This business provides and excellent service with a welcoming and comforting atmosphere. Not much more anyone can ask of a business thanks guys highly recommended

Wasnt able to do anything. My daughter left get ID home. The lady said that I could write a note giving permission, and then wouldnt do it that night. Told her to bring it back the next day, and when she went back, the letter wasnt enough. So she went elsewhere. Couldve saved my John Hancock. P 😊 Ive heard good things, but unfortunately havent been able to experience it.

Today I visited Ouch to get my septum pierced and it was such a great experience! Right out of the gate it was clear that this studio knows their stuff and cares about doing it right! The guy at the counter was nice and helpful, and Kara, my piercer, was phenomenal. Just a super chill, welcoming person. She did a great job too. I’ve read so much saying that if your piercer does it well, septums aren’t a very painful piercing, and they must have been right because I barely felt a thing. We were probably with her for less than 10 minutes.Fantastic work, fantastic people:-)

I paid $75 just for jewelry & to get it changed & every single one of my piercings unscrewed & I don’t live in South Carolina now I’m back home & all of my piercings falling out & im losing them y’all could’ve at least made sure my s**t was tight like come on now ! & I WAITED A WHOLE HOUR

Got my first helix and just recently conch done here and they are healing wonderfully and look beautiful! The conch can be tricky for some studios but Ouch did it perfect and the healing process has been painless so far. Definitely recommend 👍🏼

I had such an amazing experience at Ouch Studios this past weekend. I got my 16th ear piercing ( a rook) from Kara and it was seriously one of the best piercing experiences Ive had (and Ive had a bunch). She was professional, personal, and personable. I will definitely be going back for all of my piercing needs. The woman in reception was also so wonderful to interact with. She was knowledgeable and fun. We were the last piercings of a busy night and had quite a wait, but they were so great it was well worth the wait.Thanks so much!!!

This was not my first experience with Ouch (always great!), but yesterday went above and beyond any expectation I could have had. My daughter (8) had her ears pierced. Kara is awesome. She explained everything to her before: what to expect, during: what she was doing as she pierced, and after: how to take care of her lobes. The entire experience from walking in the door to leaving was a wonderful one. Everything was clean, professional, and my child was comfortable.

The staff is super friendly and the prices are great. Kara is a great piercer. She is extremely sanitary, she cleaned my nose multiple times before piercing and changed gloves 2-3 times during the super quick procedure. No complaints. I’ll definitely be back!

I went for some piercings and went in feeling good because i was told they were good. Well one turned out great the other one was way off i asked for a belly button piercing and instead i got a belly piercing it was like inches away from the top of my belly button. I get im not skinny but even girls bigger than me have theirs where the bottom was in the belly button. But its ok ive never had piercings except my ears done before so i dont know much on how these things work but it just looked really stupid even in pictures on where it was at i didnt even feel comfortable showing people it. Like wasnt even near my belly button.

Got my eyebrow done there and they were absolutely fabulous in explaining the piercing and doing it as quick as possible with efficiency. They even quickly fixed a payment issue that occured and were very apologetic. Will definitely be coming back for the rest of my piercings!

This place was great! I drove from Lexington because they have the best prices. The studio was very clean, receptionist was polite. The piercer was very personable and fast with the process. I got both daiths pierced, and she did it very quickly so that it didnt hurt! Will definitely come back!

Just now getting around to post ... had my belly button pierced over a year ago and ouch was very professional, sanitary, and kind. My piercing healed great and it was quick and easy. It’s also much more inexpensive than other places around!! They did great!

Kara is the best!!! I got my first nose piercing and my second lobe piercing done (my first lobe was done when I was young so I don’t remember it, essentially making this my first piercing experience). The guy at the counter was very encouraging and offered me and my friends popsicles since we were nervous. I have a very low threshold for tolerating pain but Kara made the experience so easy and quick and gave very good aftercare advice. They have great prices, great attitudes, and a great atmosphere!

We have been here several times. Clean and polite. So much safer than a jewelry shop with a piercing gun. My daughters have had multiple ear piercings. They were given good instructions on keeping the area clean and sterile. And they were told what not to do, which is usually what other places will tell you to do. Prices are good; they do have a military discount with ID.

My Sweet McKenzie got her ears pierced today.... And we all were quite nervous for her. But Kara along with staff helped ease the anxiety. Very nice and friendly. Our little one did pretty good for a 4 month old. Great experience! Thanks!

The shop was clean and I love my piercing but the ladies at the desk were not very professional and I felt like my piercing was over priced.

The piercer did a GREAT job and I didnt feel a thing when she pierced my belly button! However, I did not like the fact that you have to pay upfront before they even look at you and you also had to give a tip upfront if you were going to do so.... not sure how you can tip someone before they give the services that you request.

This place is a joke. I have the daith piercing and I have had to go back twice to have the earring put back in. The first time it was a week after my initial piercing and the guy that pierced my ear was not there so the nice young lady put my earring back in with no questions asked. By the way there were two other people there for the very same thing. So the second time I go the guy at the front desk tells me that I needed to pay $5.. Yeah right this time there was a girl there to get her nose ring put back in. She says to me that she seem to think that they are putting in short earrings and nose rings to have people come back to pay the $5. Thats why I know I should have never went to Ouch in the first place. The young dude with all the piercing at the front desk is a joke he seems to make up stuff as he pleases and he never seems to know anything. Dont waste your time. Ouch is a joke.

I went here this past Saturday to get my lip pierced for the first time. I have my industrial I got at knotty heads and it wasnt placed right. At Ouch! She spent as much time as i needed to be sure placement was correct. Everyone there was very friendly! The piercing was quick and is perfect! Barley any swelling. Both the piercer and the lady at the counter were super nice and knowing I was nervous gave me confidence in my decision. They held conversation and told me everything I needed to know. I will definetly go back and recommend them to all my friends. I have no complaints whatsoever! Loved them!

This place is great! A woman named Kara peirced my nipples (my first BIG piercing) and theyre perfect. I was nervous because I had never been to Ouch before but she made me feel comfortable plus it was quick and easy! I go there for all of my other piercings now.

This place has obviously gone through a lot of changes in the past year. Including staff. I normally see Cassidy or Kara, and usually am skeptic about new piercers. But figured Hey! Never had a bad expierence here before. From the beginning the front start was NOT friendly and really seemed bothered by me coming in. The piercer? Not any better .Didnt talk at all even when I tried to make jokes or asked questions about my piercing. He just brushed them off and didnt even acknowledge any of them. Now my ear piercing is beautiful but the bar is SO short its already indenting my ear and causing so many issues.So I refuse to go in for a bar change and am instead going elsewhere.Im so sad because I reccomend this place to EVERYONE and now? Its not even worth the drive out there (30 mins) or the money. I wish I went elsewhere and plan to from now on.

I got a double helix and daith piercing today. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. Even helped me with some piercings I had done elsewhere. She took her time and answered questions. I went here to get my daith piercing done and Im so glad I chose this place. It is so clean and professional and everyone is super nice. I was a little nervous about getting it done but when everyone involved is so confident and knowledgeable it makes it a lot easier. From what I see service hasnt gotten any better. Piercing staff knowledgeable but there heads have gotten to big for there shoulders. They thought they were to good to do a piercing I requested. If they truely are professionals they wouldnt have had any issues especially when one of the says they specialize in that area.I usually do all my piercings myself but piercing was in area I was unable to.Ended up having a friend do it for me who has never pierced anyone in her life. Walked her through it an came out perfect.Shops like ouch have gotten to big for own britches to truely handle there there business an customers the way they need to be.Maybe i should open my own shop an probably will because of shops like this that claim to be professionals.Treat your customers better or theyll be gone in time.

I came here recently with a specific tattoo idea in mind, and spoke with Fred and Chris about what I was looking for. The design that Fred came up with for my tattoo was EXACTLY what I had envisioned. From the attentiveness of these artists to the price, my experience at this place was great! Different artists. When I first went about 8 years ago I loved the tattoo artist. My last tattoo experience there with who ever the guy was at the time (about 4-5 years ago) was HORRIBLE. I got a finger tattoo... most shops you have to pay $60 minimum. Nope not him ! I was going and dumb and let the man charge me $110 but then he realized he didn’t have any of the solution they give you so he “couldn’t refund me” the money he charged on my card so he tells me to just remind him to take it off of my next tattoo . $110 and for 4 letters on my pointer finger and the ink didn’t even take well. I didn’t recommend this place for tattoos but I don’t know if there’s new staff. The piercers are always nice and the piercing I got here was good.

I went here to get a bellybutton piercing but was so disappointed once I came through the door. I was never assisted, even when I tried to grab someone’s attention. The employee behind the desk just gave me an attitude as if she didn’t want to speak at all. I can understand if a place is busy or something, but the employee not only avoided speaking with me but other customers who came through the door as well. It was just awkward, confusing, and uncomfortable. I just turned around and took my business elsewhere. They need more organization or help up front because I wasn’t the only one that walked out.

Walked in the door and definitely was not greeted by the employee behind the counter but instead the other guests sitting down. The young lady did not ask myself or the others who walked in with me did we need any help or anything. After standing there for a minute waiting to be addressed, some others walked in after us and she walked completely past me, spoke to them and asked if they needed help! Absolute worse experience ever. We were traveling from out of town just to get this done! Ruined what was suppose to be a great experience. The only reason I allowed my niece to stay is because she had already paid to get her piercing done.

Stopped by Ouch! so my 3 year old could have her ears pierced and I could have my daith repierced. Kara was our piercer and I must saw she was AMAZING! She explained what would happen to my daughter using words she would understand. Kara told her step by step what she was doing. The room was very clean. Highly recommend Kara for all your piercing needs!

Worst experience Ive ever had getting anything pierced. At first, they completely ignored me and didnt assist me at all. When I confronted someone about the lack of service, I got a rude response and then was ignored once again. They acted as if answering my questions about what I was getting done was a burden to them, which I didnt understand. They handled me so poorly, I cant get over it - the whole experience made me highly uncomfortable and upset. I feel as though getting a piercing or tattoo should be a fun, enjoyable experience, but I left with nothing but an irritated feeling in my chest. I definitely will never be coming back to this place again. As for the treatment received from staff, they dont even deserve one star.

My daughter and I got cartilage piercings. They are very professional, knowledgeable, big on educating you about your piercing and the homecare. The adherence to infection control was great. We highly recommend and will return.

Great place to get your ears pierced. Very knowledgeable and experienced staff. Needle piercing is much better than gun piercing.

This was the first piercing studio that Ive been to in SC and I came in to get my tragus pierced. I love the environment and the staff. The environment is very clean and the staff made me feel very comfortable. Kara did an awesome job piercing my tragus!
