These guys were great! We were able to find exactly what we wanted. I looked at a few different places in Burlington, Durham, and Greensboro and they had the best pricing with everything included. They also had the fastest turn around time. Highly recommend.

We had an outstanding experience from our very first conversation to the installation of our beautiful countertop. Everyone here is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Angelia knew exactly what I was trying to describe and took us to the PERFECT piece of quartz! Joey (the owner) was so helpful in deciding the size and shape of our bar area and was thankfully willing to install a new sink, faucet and garbage disposal at the same time. We love how everything turned out!

We heard about C.C.C. through a friend who uses them in business. My wife and I went to the showroom about a month ago, we picked out a reasonably priced quartz material, but we’re not very excited about our choice. We went back to set up an installation date, and found another piece that we really liked, but that was an additional $600, but we decided, since we were never going to do it again, we would go for it. When we went back, about 10 days ago, we saw our final choice in the remnant lot. Since it was not enough to do the job, we priced it at a full slab + the remnant. Angelica was great, she called and asked if we could the remnant at the discounted price, Joey, the owner, and great individual, was kind enough to accommodate us with the pricing. We would strongly suggest if you are thinking about new countertops in your home, chose Central Carolina Countertops as your go to company. They are very professional, courteous and budget conscious. The install crew were outstanding, also very courteous and professional. They explained what they were going to do, and why. We couldn’t be happier with the results of our experience.Happy, Happy, Happy, Bob & Sue A.

Apparently they did not need my business. We have an existing quartz countertop. We needed to get professional advice and modification to allow clearance for our sink faucet. The original installation had too much overhang to allow a straight faucet of current design to be used.I called Central Carolina Countertops for professional help. I prefer to deal with local small businesses and was happy to find them. I was pleased that a fellow came out just two days later (but not wearing mask or even acknowledging any Covid-19 precautions) and looked at our installation and took several detailed pictures. He said he didnt know what to advise, but that he would talk to Joey and get back to us. Well, after about 3 days, I called the office, and Joey was not in that day but the receptionist told me that she would leave him a message to call me. She was very nice, but still no call. Here it is about a month later, and have not heard a thing, nor have they left a voicemail. Nothing.Apparently, if you are wanting a new kitchen and are willing to pay thousands (which is reasonable), they may do top quality work, according to other reviews. Great. They could have at least had the decency to tell me they could not do anything for me.

Central Carolina Countertops did an excellent job with my kitchen remodel. They have a huge selection of beautiful stone slabs to choose from and Joey Cook was available to walk through the warehouse with my husband and I to give his professional advice on which slabs would be the best for our vision and our budget. I was also able to view and choose a new sink in the showroom. Joey and his team were very professional and very reasonably priced. The install went smoothly with no issues. They also handled the plumbing for my new sink install and I have not had any problems. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. My kitchen is beautiful!!

!!! WARNING!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!Waited for over a year after ordering just to be told that they are sorry, they are slammed and they cant get to two cabinet doors! This was while I was watching Ms. Angelia taking an order for new cabinets from a new unsuspecting customer! Really!?! A year?? How unprofessional! The owner Joey, didnt even have the courtesy to come out and tell us himself after so many empty promises!

Perhaps my experience with this business is a one-off due to the fact that it was having equipment issues during the course of my purchase; nevertheless, I’m disconcerted enough to do the only thing I’m able to do for the sake of my fellow consumers. As for “price,” I rate this business “average.” As for customer service, I rate this business as, “disrespectful, inconsiderate and self-absorbed.” I’m so grateful to the contractor who is re-doing my master bathroom. Even though I specifically pointed out my contractor’s instructions for cutting a granite top for my vanity, it arrived cut incorrectly. At that point, Joey (the owner), who was otherwise occupied, and Marc (employee and measure-er) treated me as if I was a mindless, irrational woman until my contractor intervened. Amazingly, my contractor was treated with respect and the granite was cut and installed properly.I’m neither an over-sensitive woman, nor a women’s libber. However, I fully grasp that I would have gotten screwed over… without a moment’s hesitation… if not for the intervention of my experienced, male contractor. Sad, sad, sad….

I would be wary about doing business with Joey Cook (owner). My install was set between 9:00-9:30 a.m. on August 17. I received a call from Joey that morning asking if it could be pushed up to 1:00 because one guy called out & he gave me one other excuse. I was gracious enough to agree. The people he subcontracted to do the install cut my sink without explaining to me why it needed to be done or ask if it was okay. Then one of the workers tells me one of the pieces was cut short. His supervisor, as I assume he was, started reprimanding him in Spanish. I informed the supervisor that it was inappropriate for him to be speaking to his worker in Spanish just so I couldnt understand him. It implied he was hiding something. Then they wanted to glue two pieces of my back splash together to put over the longest part of one of my counter tops. When I asked the installers why it wasnt one piece they had no idea. I instructed them NOT to install it. I told them my counter top was one piece and I expected my back splash to be one piece as well. I tried feverishly to contact Joey. Called several times w/no answer and finally left a message with no call back. I also called the office w/no answer, so I had to leave yet another message. One of Joeys workers finally called me back & told me that its not uncommon to have two pieces glued together. I explained to him that was not my expectation nor was I told that would/could be the case. This gentlemen assured me he could glue them together & I would never know the difference. When I told him that I wanted one piece made he informed me they were not able to do that because of the way my counter tops were cut. They would have to order a new slab to be able to cut it in one piece, BUT it would be an extra charge. I informed him that I had no intention of paying any extra fees and that I actually expected a discount for the inconvenience I had been through. He proceeded to tell me there would be no discount & that I had a contract. I informed him it was not his place to say whether I received a discount or not & I also reminded him that, yes, we did have a contract & it has not been fulfilled. August 18, 19, 20 no call from Joey. I finally received a VM from him on Friday saying he would be here Monday the 24 at 10:00 to finish the job. I called him back, but no answer. I left a message that I would call him back at 5:00. Called back at 5:00 no answer. Left a VM and a text Friday and Sunday stating I needed to speak with him BEFORE he came on Monday. Crickets. Youll grow old trying to get a call back or an answer from anyone at this company. On a positive note, my counter tops are beautiful.**Update: September 15, 2020 - Almost one month to the day of installation and my countertops are still not complete. Owner will not make things right. I have an unfinished job and he still hasnt gotten paid in full. Take your business elsewhere and check the reviews before deciding to make a commitment.

I had JLC install a granite counter top August 2019. Most horrible experience Ive ever had. My house was filled with what smelled like lacquer thinner that they used. The plumber they brought couldnt figure out how to go from a double sink to a single sink and ran to the bathroom every few minutes and returned red eyed and sweating. When JLC left the raw ends of the granite had not been polished and a shim had been left sticking out under the counter. When I complained they returned next day. Took the top to the parking lot and cut and polished more. I expressed concern twice in letter about having a seam in the middle of the sink. Now, May, 2020 the seam in the counter at sink has opened up and looks awful.I paid $4000 for this terrible job. I had the same counter installed in another state and it was beautifully done. These people are not professional or honest.
