Mr Morris is one of the most honest business men I have ever me. If his shop gets overloaded with work, he jumps into the garage until the work gets done. He is not only the owner, but he is also still a superb mechanic. I can highly recommend this shop.

I was traveling from seeing a friend and something happened to my car and I had some ideas but wasn’t 100% sure I called a couple people but this place just seemed like the right place to go. My experience with them was amazing! They told me it was probably this but come to find out it was something way more cheaper than that and Jamie was a very concerned man that was worried about my well being and my safety. He explained to me and showed me everything that happened and what he was doing he used good communication skills with me. Explained the price and gave me suggestions on what to do with my problem! Not only did they safe me from being stranded but they also showed me how good people still are today in this world! The front desk lady was sweet and respectful! This place actually cares about their customers. If it wasn’t so far away I would get my car worked on here! I appreciate you all so much and thank you for all you did for me!

We recently moved to town with a car making noises and didnt know a mechanic to trust. They quickly worked us in, the staff were very kind and helpful. They explained that it was a minor issue and didnt even charge me anything for my first time visiting! I was truly stunned and taken aback by the awesome experience I had here, plus my car is no longer making noises weeks later. They are not people trying to take advantage of you but making an honest living and know what theyre talking about. Dont hesitate to bring your cars here!

The Best and Most HONEST auto shop!!! Another garage wanted to charge me $1500 in repairs. All that was needed was an oil filter screwed in. Highly recommend them!

Always excellent service

Tried these folks on a recommendation of a friend when my F150 wouldn’t start. Was told by the dealer that it was most likely a fuel pump, or computer part that runs the fuel pump. Turned out to be a simple fix. These folks are honest, friendly, took time to explain everything. They have a customer for life, I won’t take any of our vehicle anywhere else.

Up the Creek is the most honest repair shop I have used. I recommend them to anyone that needs something done. They actually come and talk to you and explain what needs to be done. Definitely people of integrity. The reason I gave only 5 stars is because there are not more.

We love Up The Creek! Ms. Bonnie is wonderful, Jamie is fantastic, and their entire staff is great. We’ve taken our Honda Accord, Ford Explorer, and Volvo XC90 to them and every time we have received honest work and very reasonable prices. I recommend them for anything and everything. Talk about service like it USED to be back in the good ole days! Have a question, a mechanic may come out to your car to listen to it, or check something out to give you advice. Or you can make an appt, they get your car in, then come out and talk to you. Feel like they are surgeons to come and explain everything to you what is wrong, what they recommend! I will never take any car I own anyplace but here. My only complaint is they are getting too well known for their excellent service and getting harder to get your car in! lol

This place just recently.moved from Campbells creek to Kanawha city. TED serviced my car in a timely manner and was very professional. I have no complaints. I recommend this place for a fast service and friendly environment.

I needed new tires, but my work schedule made it difficult to drop the car off all day. They arranged for me to do this while I waited. They were prompt and professional.

Great staff and quick service

I only gave this place a 1 because 0 is not an option. I own 2 cars 1 of which i took for an oil change here. After i had a power steering leak. I went to another shop for repairs. There i was told that the power steering line had been cut or poked. I had my suspensions but what could i really do? I took my other car to UTC today for an inspection sticker. They told me that my front wheel bearings were going bad and needed replaced. It would cost me $250 per wheel for a total of $500 and that they could not give me a sticker until they made the repair. I didnt mention to them that i had the same work done to that very car 8 months prior and that i knew in fact the parts were in new and working order. I also didnt mention that it only cost me $220 with an alignment at the other shop. I simply told him to wait on the sticker and ill come back when i can pay for the repairs. Meanwhile i left immediately and went to Murdocks in Clendenin for a 2nd opinion. They went over my car with a fine tooth comb finding nothing wrong whatsoever. Murdocks gladly passed and placed an inspection sticker on my car. Up The Creek Towing is in the business of ripping people off and making problems where there are none. I do not recommend them to anyone!
